Victims of Typhoon Sendong (Washi) from Mindanao Needs our Help

I had a very busy weekend. I performed in the choir during our Church's Year-end Thanksgiving Worship Services. I accompanied my daughter in her school. While I was waiting for my her, I overheard some mommies talking about the damage that Typhoon Sendong (international code name Washi) has brought to Mindanao. They mentioned about the Ondoy-like flash floods. I confirmed the news when I tuned in to TV Patrol Weekend on Saturday night. There were more than 600 dead bodies and almost a thousand missing.  As of the latest news, death toll is more than 900. Many of our kababayans lost their homes and properties, and their loved ones. In times like this, they really need our help, whether in cash or in kind. 

Our blogger community called Pinay Mommies Community is rallying for donations to help the victims and their families. We also have fellow bloggers from Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City who were affected with the devastating flash flood. This morning, I sent a small amount via PayPal.

Nestle Fitness Les Mills BodyJam Dance Workout

With my present health condition, the doctors have advised me to lose weight through proper diet and exercise. By doing so, painful attacks of my gallbladder problem will be lessened. So, I decided to start a diet program that I have tested to effective. I am talking about the the Nestle Fitness 14-Day Show off your Shape Challenge. I, together with 3 other teammates joined and won the challenge in November 2009. The secret of our victory was a diet plan wherein two meals (breakfast and dinner) were replaced by a bowl of Nestle Fitness Whole Grain cereal with skim or low-fat milk and 1 piece of fruit. Well, work-outs and exercise really helped us achieve  the targets, too. I took the advantage of using the Les Mills Body Combat work-out CD which I got for free from Nestle Fitness. 

I got another free Les Mills VCD last night. This is the Les Mills Body Jam. Les Mills, the company that developed a series of internationally known group fitness classes  and Nestle Fitness breakfast cereals joined together to provide a fantastic combination, that is a great breakfast and a dance workout. Hurray to a healthier lifestyle.
