UP-Diliman Technology Management Center Now Accepting Application for the Master of Technology Management Program

I learned about Master Technology Management  two years ago during my aggressive search for other graduate program aside from MBA or MPA. By the end of this semester, I already earned 24 units out of the 36 units required to complete the program though I'm still keeping my fingers crossed to finish all the requirements of the two courses I'm taking now. :) 

Technology Management Center, University of the Philippines-Diliman is now accepting applications for the academic year 2010-2011 Graduate Program: Master of Technology Management (MTM). Technology Management is a new and dynamic field of discipline which appropriately addresses the growing need of both industry and government in order to meet the challenges brought about by the rapid technological advances in the 21st century. 

MTM is  the first interdisciplinary program of its kind to be offered in the Philippines, using the relevant synergy business administration, economics, engineering, and natural, social & political sciences. 5.     Once uploaded, photos will be available for viewing at the Contest Gallery

How to upload entries

Free-Spirited Couple

Our relationship started as online friends in 2003. He was working in Qatar back then while I was on my 3^rd year as a government employee. We met personally during his vacation the year after and the formal courtship started. “Getting to know” stage wasn't difficult for us because we already knew even during our first date that we like each other. I think it’s magical, and the rest is history as they say.

We are married for 4 years and blessed with a beautiful and witty daughter named Yasmin Althea. As a couple, consider ourselves as free-spirited because we still enjoy our independence while having fun and quality time for the family as much as we could. He managed to survive independent yet challenging life as an OFW. I enjoy my hobbies such as blogging and hanging out with friends while enjoying mother and wife duties.

The photo below was taken last January 31, 2010 at around 5pm, few hours after his arrival from Oman. He’s been away for more than a year and that day was one of my happiest moments in my entire married life.

My Daughter's First Educational Trip

The scheduled field trip of day care pupils in our area will be on February 25, 2010. This will be Thea's first field trip. The mom here is so excited...Unfortunately, I can't accompany her that day due to my church duties. Her Tita Leny will take care of her instead. 

They will visit Villamor Airbase, Gardenia (Bread) Factory and Enchanted Kingdom. At first, I was hesitant to let her join the trip but when the teacher said that all children who will join are exempted from taking the 4th Evaluation Exam, I am convinced that she'll participate. 

I hope that my husband is still here on March 18th because it will the Thea's graduation. Meanwhile, I will devote some of my time this coming summer in scouting for a good nursery school. Thea will enter the formal preparatory school on June 2010. We're also planning to enroll her to a summer classes and maybe ballet classes, too. Hmmm, this might an exciting yet hectic summer for us....

My First UP Fair Experience
Without any plans of going to the fair, three of my classmates tagged me along in the fair last Tuesday. If I remember it right, the event was dubbed as "Sisfire7" and sponsored by UP Economics Society and UP Sigma Beta Sorority. Though we didn't stayed until wee hours, it was quite an awesome experience.

Our Baguio City Family Getaway (February 5-7, 2010)

Just before the husband arrived from Oman, I have already arranged our 3-day vacation in the City of Pines. We stayed in a transient house there which was few minutes away from Burnham Park. We really enjoyed our vacation. It was our first out-of-town trip together (Papa, Thea and me). Yes, just the three of us. We have been    into lots of out-of-town trips with my in-laws and relatives. Thea and I went to my hometown, but never with Papa because he's always working. The trip was indeed a perfect bonding time. It was one of my happiest moments with my beloved family.
